Product description
Swimming pool hall ventilation with heat exchanger and reversible heat pump.
The DanX XWPRS units combine the functions of heat pump and ventilation units and are the flagship of Dantherm’s air handling solutions. They enable precise control and adjustment of humidity and temperature in swimming pools. Optimum use of external energy reduces operating costs to a minimum.
One of the key functions of the DanX-XWPRS appliances is the sophisticated heat recovery system. Total recovery is achieved by combining a heat exchanger with the functions of the reversible heat pump.
At night, when the evaporation rate is low and no fresh air is required, the system can switch to full recirculation mode and operate partially or fully as a dehumidification system. An additional louvre damper can be used to reduce the air flow rate at the evaporator and thus increase the dehumidification capacity.
A water-cooled condenser can be used to further optimize energy efficiency. This limits the condenser temperature and the excess heat can be used for the pool water, underfloor heating or domestic hot water heating.

- Strong housing made of hot-dip galvanized closed frames, fixed with aluminium corners and insulated inside with mineral wool. (DanX HP XD: self-supporting sandwich construction with base frame and adjustable feet).
- Hot-dip galvanized sandwich panels with 50 mm insulation (thermal transmittance factor T3 / thermal bridge factor TB3 / air leakage L3 according to EN 1886).
- Internal partition walls are 30 mm thick and made of hot-dip galvanized 1.25 mm sheet steel insulated with mineral wool.
- Inspection openings are designed as doors with fixed hinges and handles or square.
- Optionally, all internal components including fans and cover plates are powder-coated separately before assembly (corrosion class C4).
- If the device is installed outdoors in an aggressive environment, a 70 μm powder coating is available on the surfaces of the external cover plates.
- All screws, nuts and bolts are made of stainless steel or are specially protected.
- Condenser, evaporator and heating surfaces are epoxy-coated.
- Replaceable droplet separator for air velocities of up to 4 m/s.
- IP 66 damper motors for aggressive environments.
