Sorption technology training
The course covers psychrometrics, moisture load calculations, moisture removal methods, sizing and design of dehumidification systems and/or make-up air systems or energy recovery systems and provides a detailed overview of the most common applications for sorption technology. This is aimed at engineers and end users who need a basic education in psychrometrics and moisture calculation or simply want to gain a better understanding of sorption technology and equipment.
Basic training in water damage restoration
The basic training course on water damage restoration provides practical knowledge on how to effectively eliminate water damage. It starts with the basics of restoration, including the different types of water damage and their effects on the building fabric. An overview of the most important devices such as dehumidifiers and drying devices is given, including their optimal use depending on the damage situation.
An essential part of the training is the explanation of the different drying techniques, in particular condensation drying and sorption drying. In addition, common causes of water damage are explained, such as moisture in masonry, inadequate/faulty insulation, leaks or cracks in pipes.
Another focus is on the sorption drying principle, which works particularly effectively with our adsorption dryers. Even at low temperatures, the sorption dryer can reliably absorb and remove moisture. They are also characterized by their low energy consumption.
