Dehumidification of the army's equipment, devices and vehicles

Adsorption dryers have been used by international armed forces to store military materials since the 1960s. If the humidity in a warehouse is not regulated, rust and mold damage can be the result.

This can mean the end for sensitive electronic equipment. A dehumidifier monitors that the relative humidity (RH) does not exceed a certain value. This ensures that valuable materials are in good condition when in use.

Underground warehouses, hangars and shelters:

By monitoring the humidity, stored materials, e.g. in underground warehouses, hangars and shelters, are optimally protected. Maintenance costs can be significantly reduced through targeted dehumidification. This applies in particular to electronic equipment.

No corrosion on materials

To ensure the best possible storage for vehicles, ammunition and more, the same requirements apply as in many other industries. It is essential to have an adequate level of humidity to prevent mold, electronic failure, chemical reactions and corrosion. Mold growth is prevented from a maximum value of 70% relative humidity, while a maximum of 50% relative humidity is required to prevent bacterial growth, corrosion and clumping.
