It is essential to have an adequate level of humidity to prevent mold, electronic failure, chemical reactions and corrosion. Mold growth is prevented from a maximum value of 70% relative humidity, while a maximum of 50% relative humidity is required to prevent bacterial growth, corrosion and clumping.

Dry air stores are used to store a wide variety of materials. The use of dry air is significantly more economical and also more ecological than heating and ventilating large storage areas.
